Calculating the laser working distance

If you know the aperture angle of a laser and the required size of the depicted laser line (or your projection pattern), you can also calculate the required working distance for the correct mounting of the laser module:

Attention: Calculated working distances of under 1 mm or beyond 1,000,000 mm are declared invalid.
